Our story
Where carbon becomes craft.
A hands-on practice built around useful material, thoughtful design and the belief that distinctive wood deserves a meaningful second life.
Meet Marty
A lifetime around trees and wood.
Marty, CarbonCraft’s owner, began working with trees and woodworking as a teenager in Atlantic Canada. More than 25 years later, he is following in his father’s footsteps and turning that experience into a full-time craft.
CarbonCraft brings together practical problem-solving, hands-on woodworking, epoxy, metal fabrication and a willingness to develop unconventional methods when an individual piece calls for them.
By turning locally sourced, reclaimed and character-rich wood into durable furniture, CarbonCraft extends its useful life and keeps a portion of the tree’s carbon stored in a lasting piece.
