Custom stair treads from rescued sugar maple.

These stair treads began as rough slabs from a 200-year-old sugar maple rescued a year earlier. Careful preparation revealed the figure, spalting and natural character that had been waiting inside.

From rescued wood to a one-of-a-kind architectural detail, this is the kind of second life CarbonCraft was built around.
